Platform Use and Services
As a vendor on PetVet Shop, you have the opportunity to connect with a broad audience of pet parents looking for high-quality pet products and services. You are responsible for managing order transactions, processing, and fulfillment efficiently and effectively. Ensuring quality, availability, and timely delivery is crucial. PetVet Shop acts as a multi-vendor marketplace, facilitating direct connections between vendors and buyers without intermediaries.
Eligibility and Access
The Platform is accessible only to authorized manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors of pet products and services. Access and usage of our Platform require that you are at least eighteen (18) years old and reside within the United States of America ("U.S.") or Canada. By using our website and accessing the Platform and PetVet Shop Services, you confirm that you can legally enter into a binding agreement with PetVet Shop and meet all the aforementioned eligibility criteria. Access or use of the Platform is not permitted if these conditions are not met.
Vendor Licensing Requirement
All vendors must be verified license holders within their jurisdictions to sell pet products and supplies on PetVet Shop. This requirement ensures that all products offered on our platform meet the highest quality and regulatory compliance standards.
Our Fees and Tax Policy
Our policy states you must pay a 10% applicable fee whenever you use our Services. In a payment dispute, we can change the cost at any time without any limitation. It's important to note that at PetVet Shop, all transactions, charges, and expenses are expressed in US currency. The fee is charged the moment we process the transaction.
Stripe Charges, Fee Policy, and Bank Transfer
Vendors on PetVet Shop are subject to a transaction processing fee imposed by Stripe, amounting to 2.9% + 30 cents per transaction. This fee will be automatically deducted from the vendor’s account upon the completion of a transaction. Vendors can also integrate their regular bank accounts to receive payments.
Note
Vendors are directed to manually update an order's status to "Delivered" once the product has successfully reached the customer. This ensures accurate record-keeping and customer satisfaction. The vendor will receive the payment after updating the status.
Intellectual Property Rights & Prohibited Uses
Vendors must ensure that their product listings, images, and related content do not infringe on intellectual property rights, including copyrights and trademarks. The platform must be used in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and in a manner that does not damage or undermine the integrity of PetVet Shop or its community. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to, illegal conduct, posting of harmful or offensive content, and any form of impersonation or fraud.
Submission Guidelines: Prohibited Contact Details
To maintain the integrity and safety of our platform, vendors are strictly prohibited from including personal or business contact information on product images, in videos, or within submitted PDFs. This includes phone numbers, email addresses, websites, or social media handles. Violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of your vendor account. Ensure all submissions comply with our guidelines to avoid disruptions to your account status.
Account Security and Management
You should set up a username, password, and account to use the Platform. This information is confidential and must not be shared with any third parties. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your username or password or any other security breach. Always log out at the end of your session, especially when using a computer not affiliated with your pet care practice, to prevent unauthorized access to your account information. Despite any contrary provisions, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and restricting access to your account and computer, accepting responsibility for all activities under your account.
Account Suspension and Termination
Repeated complaints or failure to adhere to our Terms and Conditions may result in account suspension or termination. PetVet Shop prioritizes maintaining a trustworthy and safe platform and will take necessary actions to protect its users and integrity.
Vendor and Buyer Relationship Disclaimer
PetVet Shop disclaims any liability for damages, losses, claims, or disputes that may arise between vendors and buyers. By using our Platform and Services, you acknowledge and accept this disclaimer.
Applications
PetVet Shop may offer mobile applications to access the platform. Vendors using these applications are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable license linked to their accounts for business use. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by PetVet Shop and its licensors. You agree to comply with all application updates and U.S. and foreign export laws.
Enforcement and Monitoring
Compliance Obligations: As a vendor on PetVet Shop, you are required to adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and the terms outlined in this agreement.
Monitoring: PetVet Shop reserves the right to monitor vendor activities on the platform to ensure compliance with platform policies, including but not limited to product listings, communications with customers, and adherence to community standards.
Reporting Violations: Vendors are encouraged to promptly report any violations of the Terms and Conditions, including fraudulent activities, intellectual property infringement, or breaches of community standards.
Investigations: PetVet Shop will conduct thorough investigations upon receiving reports of violations. In cases where violations are substantiated, PetVet Shop reserves the right to suspend or terminate vendor accounts pending investigation.
Remedial Actions: Violations of the Terms and Conditions may result in various consequences, including but not limited to account suspension, termination, or financial penalties. PetVet Shop will determine the appropriate action based on the severity and nature of the violation.
Appeals Process: Vendors can appeal any enforcement actions taken against them. The appeals process will be clearly outlined, including the steps and timeline for resolution.
